The following Medical Bureau of Pittsburgh By-Laws were amended by unanimous vote at the September 28, 2021 Board of Directors’ Meeting.
Page 5, ARTICLE II MEMBERSHIP Section 1:
Previous By-Law
Membership in the Medical Bureau shall be limited to members in good standing of the following organizations:
1. Accredited Hospitals of Pennsylvania
2. Member Groups
a. Medical Profession
b. Dental Profession
c. Podiatric Profession
d. Optometric Profession
e. Other allied professional groups and entities approved by the Board of Directors.
Amended By-Law
Membership in the Medical Bureau shall be limited to those licensed providers in good standing in the following:
1. Accredited Hospitals of Pennsylvania
2. Groups
a. Medical Profession
b. Dental Profession
c. Podiatric Profession
d. Optometric Profession
e. Other allied professional groups and entities approved by the Board of Directors.
Page 10 ARTICLE VI DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS Section 6:
Previous By-Law
The Board of Directors shall be comprised of at least (8) members but not to exceed (12). The proportion of Physicians to Dentists comprising The Board shall be left to the discretion of the Board, but there shall be at least (4) Dentists and (4) Physicians.
Amended By-Law
The Board of Directors shall be comprised of Physicians and Dentists. The proportion of Physicians and Dentists comprising the Board, shall be left to the discretion of the Board.
